TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. Membership Agreement

  • Membership is subject to approval by Supreme Fitness.

  • Members of the gym and adult classes must be at least 13 years old.

  • Membership fees, types, and benefits may vary and are subject to change.

  • Memberships must be paid to enable use of the gym, failed direct debits or card payments will result in no entry.

  • This Contract shall begin on your first payment and continue monthly until terminated by either party in accordance with this cancellation policy below.

2. Rules and Regulations

  • Members must comply with all gym rules, policies, and guidelines, including safety instructions and proper equipment use that are set around the gym and matted areas

  • Please be aware we do have free parking but please respect our neighbours and DO NOT PARK DIRECTLY OUTSIDE OTHER PEOPLES UNITS AT ANYTIME, Supreme Fitness Centre is Unit 3, 4 and 5 only. There is also plenty of free off-road parking locally, just minutes from the gym.

  • Supreme Fitness reserves the right to refuse access or terminate memberships for any breach of these terms.

3. Liability Waiver

  • Members assume ALL risk of personal injury, death, or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care.

  • In consideration for being allowed to participate in any training, class, or event organized by Supreme Fitness, Members hereby:

    Release, waive, and discharge Supreme Fitness, its owners, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability for injury, loss, or damage to myself or my property arising from my participation;

    Agree not to hold Supreme Fitness liable for any injuries (including death), illnesses (including communicable diseases such as COVID-19), or property damage that may occur before, during, or after participation;

    Acknowledge that this waiver extends to injuries caused by negligence, except where prohibited by law.

4. Payment and Fees

  • Members agree to pay all applicable fees, charges, and taxes for their selected membership type upfront and before entering the club.

  • Late or returned payments may be subject to additional fees and denied access.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Members may cancel their membership by providing written notice via email to; info@supremefitnesscentre.com 2 weeks PRIOR to the payment being requested by our system.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to this cancellation policy.

6. Personal Information and Privacy

  • Personal information collected will be managed according to the Supreme Fitness Privacy Policy.

  • Supreme Fitness may use personal information for marketing purposes, subject to applicable laws.

7. Photography and Social Media Waiver

  • Members understand that photos or videos may be taken during training sessions or events for promotional or educational purposes.

  • By signing up via our Clubright system you consent to the use of any image by Supreme Fitness in marketing materials, social media, or the company website.

    Members understand they may withdraw consent at any time by notifying the management in writing (see below).

  • Members grants permission to the use of their image of any photos and videos whilst a member of the club, to be shown on Social Media Platforms to help promote Supreme Fitness and acknowledge that they have no right to any royalties or compensation with respect of this.

  • If you wish to OPT OUT of this in a capacity please email; info@supremefitnesscentre.com stating this.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Supreme Fitness reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.

9. Safeguarding

1. Purpose and Commitment

Our martial arts club is committed to providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all participants, especially children and young people. We adhere to national safeguarding standards and ensure that all staff, instructors, and volunteers understand their responsibilities in protecting children from harm.

2. Definitions

Child/Young Person: Anyone under the age of 18.

Parent/Carer: The individual(s) with legal responsibility for the child.

Staff: Includes all instructors, assistants, volunteers, and administrative personnel affiliated with the club.

3. Safeguarding Principles

• The welfare of the child is always paramount.

• All children, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, or background, have the right to protection from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

• We take all suspicions and allegations of abuse seriously and respond appropriately.

• We maintain safe recruitment, training, and supervision procedures for all staff and volunteers.

4. Supervision and Conduct

• A responsible adult will supervise all training sessions involving children.

• Children will never be left unattended in training areas or changing facilities.

• Physical contact during instruction will only occur when necessary for teaching or safety reasons and will always be appropriate, open, and explained.

• Bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.

5. Parental Responsibilities

• Parents/carers must provide up-to-date emergency contact information and disclose any medical or behavioral needs of the child.

• Parents are encouraged to remain within sight of the training area when possible, particularly for younger children.

• Parents must collect their children promptly at the end of each session.

6. Photography, Video, and Social Media

• To safeguard children’s privacy and safety, photography and filming during classes are restricted.

• Photos or videos may only be taken with prior permission from the head instructor and written consent from the parent/carer.

• No images will be published on social media, websites, or promotional materials without explicit written consent from the parent/carer.

• When images are used:

• Children’s names will not be published alongside their photos.

• Images will depict children in appropriate attire and situations relevant to martial arts.

• Parents/carers may withdraw consent at any time by notifying the club in writing.

• Parents and spectators are not permitted to take photos or record videos during training sessions, gradings, or events unless express permission is granted.

7. Data Protection

All personal data, including consent forms and emergency information, will be stored securely and handled in compliance with data protection legislation (e.g., UK GDPR).

8. Reporting Concerns

• Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to the Chief Instructor.

• If a child is at immediate risk, appropriate authorities (e.g., police or social services) will be contacted without delay.

• Confidentiality will be maintained, but information may be shared when necessary to protect a child.

9. Disciplinary Action

Failure to comply with these safeguarding terms may result in suspension or termination of membership, and where appropriate, referral to external authorities.

10. Agreement

By enrolling a child in our martial arts programme and signing up via our Clubright system, parents/carers confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these safeguarding terms and conditions.

10. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
